Morningside Ministries was created with the specific mission of caring for those who cared for us. The ministry was founded in 1961 by the Southwest Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church and joined five years later by First Presbyterian Church of San Antonio and the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas. Over the years, Morningside Ministries has grown to include three distinct and gracious communities that are home to more than 800 residents. We strive to meet the individual, physical, spiritual, emotional and intellectual needs of each of our residents and their families. Morningside Ministries is a caring community of experienced, dedicated professionals committed to serving each resident.
