St. Mark’s Lenten Luncheon

Morningside Ministries staff could be found at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in April helping out and serving as volunteers.

It was a great turnout and overall St. Mark’s Episcopal Church has served over 2,000 people this Lent!

Lenten Luncheons, a ministry of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church are located downtown at 315 E. Pecan Street across from Travis Park. St. Mark’s Lenten Luncheons were introduced to San Antonio in 1951. About 60 volunteers a day from St. Mark’s and other non-profit organizations help with prepping, cooking and clean-up.

All proceeds go to cooperating charities such as The San Antonio Food Bank, Good Samaritan Community Services, Christian Assistance Ministry, and The Episcopal Diocese’s Habitat for Humanity, Haven for Hope, San Antonio Christian Dental Clinic and Ruby’s Kitchen. St. Mark’s Lenten Luncheons is open to the public and we invite you to join us during the Lent Season.
