Memorial Day – The Manor
Memorial ceremonies began early for assisted living and skilled nursing residents of The Manor at Morningside Ministries. As you looked around, you could feel the emotions of residents as they looked on, some deep in thought. You can’t help but think; perhaps they are remembering an old friend or family member who served and made the ultimate sacrifice.

President and Chief Executive Officer Alvin Loewenberg opened our ceremonies with his feelings and thoughts on Memorial Day. Then, after a moment of silence in remembrance the audience began conversing and enjoying each others company. Our amazing auxiliary, made of volunteers from the San Antonio community, served us some delicious festive foods.
