Dear Residents, Family Members, and Friends of Morningside Ministries,

We would first like to take this opportunity to thank you all for continuing to follow Morningside and all our happenings surrounding COVID-19. Due to a high-level vaccination rate at our communities amongst residents and staff, and our ability to keep our campuses at a zero-positivity rate, we have decided to discontinue our weekly COVID-19 communication updates. At this time, Morningside has not changed any of our policies surrounding masks or COVID-19 safety protocols. We will continue to assess the situation and follow the guidance of the CDC, and the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.

We are happy to report that all residents and staff at both communities remain COVID-19 free. As part of our ongoing efforts to combat the virus and per state requirements, we continue to provide weekly testing for Skilled Nursing staff. In addition, we remain vigilant in practicing COVID-19 safety precautions at both our communities.

Morningside continues to abide by visitation guidelines for senior living facilities set forth by the Texas Health & Human Services Commission to ensure the best chances for you to see your loved ones. Please note that if any changes to current visitation opportunities occur, your respective community administrator will be communicating those details to you going forward.

Morningside remains committed to transparency surrounding COVID-19 at our communities, while also respecting the privacy of those involved. We would like to thank you all again for your understanding and continued support while we have fervently trudged through this past year. Should you have any questions, please contact your respective administrator.

Sincerely,

Morningside Ministries Staff
