Since 1968, the Auxiliary has provided assistance to hundreds of residents receiving health care services at Morningside’s first community, the Manor, located at our Meadows community. The Auxiliary at The Manor was established not only out of a concern for the elderly, but also to use our many talents to help others. By giving generously of ourselves, we gain the happiness that comes from helping others and the satisfaction that comes from giving. Our goal is to make a difference in the daily life of the residents we serve. Members assist with a variety of activities such as special Holiday events, visiting and reading with residents, working in the Gift Shop (which is located inside the Manor), and giving much-needed support to the staff.

The Auxiliary is made up of people of all ages who donate their time, whether a couple of hours a month or every day, to make a difference in the lives of the residents at Morningside Manor. Remember:

To the world you might be “just one person”

BUT

To one person you “just might be the world”
