We’re sorry to postpone our event again, but it’s still too soon to be indoors together. We look forward to announcing a new date when we can safely gather again.
Coronavirus canceled 2020 event, sponsors respond with generosity
In light of the continuing spread of coronavirus, we have canceled Morningside’s 2020 Legacy of Grace Luncheon that was pushed back to October 28 from its original date of May 6. We look forward to Legacy of Grace returning on May 5, 2021.
The virus canceled the event, not the charitable care needs of our seniors this year. So many sponsors have inspired us with grace and generosity by allowing us to keep their gift and help meet that need. We can’t thank you enough for seeing us through this!
The news isn’t all good… but you can help.
Even with our sponsors’ help, canceling the event leaves a $25,000 shortfall in donations to charity care. The virus wasn’t in our budget. The loss of revenue for mission-critical services wasn’t either. Your gift will help erase that shortfall and give our residents in need the financial assistance they’re counting on—now more than ever.
